Social and Interative Media Consortium
SIMC (pronounced sim-see) is a group of industry leaders coming together to define a standard set of protocols for interactive and digital television. There are tough problems to solve. How can content creators publish across different networks and devices? How do we create a standard that won't quickly be made obsolete? How do we create an eco-system that spans both the internet and television worlds?
To tackle those issues, SIMC has assembled a team with representatives from organizations that include; broadcasters, content producers, advertisers, infrastructure providers, software tool builders and standards groups.

Dan manages overall vision, goals and direction for SIMC. He brings 35 years of technical, marketing and business experience.
Prassede, is a scientist, educator and author. SIMC is a mix of business, communications and teaching. Prassede makes all this work.
